vbelt pulley laser alignment tool

A remix of Noclue1987's tool, this is designed specifically for use on 40 degree vbelt pulleys. It uses the laser laser and you can use any battery holder, but I've linked the one used below. I just joined the wires together and have the battery holder free floating so I can get into tighter spaces.

This design also just has a press fit of the laser into the housing. I got it started by hand, then used a vice to press it in the rest of the way. It's a tight enough fit that it will strip the sticker off the laser.

Alignment is pretty easy, but can take a while to get perfect. Make sure that the ridges on the lens are facing outward. It'll be nearly impossible otherwise. Put the mount on a flat surface, a piece of glass is perfect. Point the laser at a square (or the target print) and use a small flat head screwdriver to rotate the lens until the line is in alignment with the square.
