Hardware Requirements

Light Source: 1x Standard E27 LED Filament Bulb (Warm White recommended).

Fixture: 1x Standard E27 threaded lamp socket with power cord.

Fasteners: M3 or M4 machine screws and corresponding cylindrical standoffs/spacers to separate and secure the hexagonal plates.

For 3D Printing (FDM / SLA)

Material Recommendations:

Hexagonal Plates: Translucent Orange PETG, Clear PLA, or tinted Resin to replicate the warm glowing effect seen in the reference renders.

Base & Socket Collar: Matte Black PLA, ABS, or Wood-fill filament to provide a solid, high-contrast anchor.

Layer Height: 0.16mm – 0.20mm. The flat plates and simple cylindrical base geometries will print exceptionally clean at standard layer heights.

Wall Lines & Infill:

Plates: Print with 2 wall perimeters and 100% concentric infill (or 0% if using thick walls) for optimal light transmission.

Base Components: Print with 3-4 wall loops and 20% infill (Gyroid pattern) for structural durability.

Safety Warning: You must strictly use an LED light bulb. Traditional incandescent or halogen bulbs generate excessive heat that will warp or melt 3D-printed thermoplastics.
