Power bank clip case
Description
A case for Dacota Platinum Qi2.2 (model: DPQI22PB10KBK ) 10 Ah power bank, equipped with double clip.
The inspiration for this came from the fact that action camera batteries are s*it, especially one brand comes into my mind.
With this case i can use my action camera all day long, not needing to change the miniature battery of my action camera every 20 minutes. peace of mind
I've used it clipped in to my chest mount harness. You can clip it onto your belt or any other fabric or thin sheet-like objects (max width: ~ 4 mm).
Two clips located far apart from each other assures that the weight of the battery distributes equally and that the case won't start going all over the place, even when it might get rough, for example DH mountain biking etc...
I've pushed the model trough few iterations and i think it now works. Feel free to comment or event attribute, if you feel it needs enhancing.
Print settings: Lid & Body as separate objects (combined stl only for previewing purposes). Lid upside down. Body as it stands.
- suggested filament: PETG (for UV-resistance)
- rafts & suppot: minimal tree, see the attached image
- layer height: 0,16 mm
Assembly requires:
- M3 countersunk bolt 20 mm & M3-nut for the hinge
- strip of cushioned tape added inside of the lid for fit fine-tuning
- Ø2,4 mm, 26 mm OD O-ring for properly sealing the lid to the body. I quess any other small rubber band would do.
