Seestar Telescope Universal _ Equatorial Mount

I needed a mobile Equatorial mount for my Seestar to enable improved deep sky pictures and optimise use of my equipment when camping.

This version uses a Stanley Maxsteel Multi Angle Vice which gives a robust mounting on the tray of my vehicle. Other brands would likely work ok.

The object is in two printed pieces (Mount and knob) and is clamped in the jaws of the vice as shown. The bolt I use is 40mm 3/8 x 2mm UNC plus a 3/8 washer to make clamping smoother.

The multi angle vice allows all foreseeable angles to be achieved necessary for equatorial mounting. It is especially useful when camping as a different set up is needed to home usage.
