fischertechnik DFRobot Robot ESP32-S3 robot development board housing

DFRobot is selling a ESP32-S3 robot development board with bluetooth, WiFi and AI, it has an onboard camera (OV3660) with 3MB resolution, facilitating video transmission and wireless remote control. It has a stable power supply to power multiple servos for for example a robot arm. There is a four channel 2.5A H-bridge motor driver making it als an excellent controller for fischertechnik applications. The cost is some $47 (September 2026).

The 3D printed housing protects the board and allows integration with fischertechnik models. Note that the ESP32 input pins have a max voltage of 3,3V, so care has to be taken not to confuse the ESP32 inputs with the 9V fischertechnik logic. However the main power supply takes 7-24V and the motors can be powered with 5-24V.
