ICOM 2730A single din mounting bracket

I needed a low-profile mount that sat below the dash, this unit is intended to fit standard aftermarket double din slots for vehicle radios.

it is intended to be mounted underneath a single din stereo.

it uses the original mag mount plate for the ic-2730a, direct radio mount will come later.

For all screws it is set for m3 screws, the ball joint is intended to have a m3 threaded insert added.

The "thread" file is intended to be glued into place (I use Kraftprotz 3d printer glue as it stands up to the heat of a vehicle)

I use ASA filament for UV resistance and Heat resistance, and the infill is 15% and walls are 4 perimeters.

EDITS-

the chasis did not allow for movment of the face plate left or right, so it is just a rectangular cutout and will be made more ornate later

it uses DieZopfe's universal ball joint mount.

the unit should fit most aftermarket Nissan/Toyota/Dodge double din radio mounts (not made for the metal slide-in single din radio mounts)

more updates/ options to come. does not support a hanger for microphone.
