2.5" HDD SDD Storage/Transport Caddy/Case.

So I was surprised how difficult it was to find a storage caddy for a small 2.5" platter HDD or Solid State SDD, so quickly created my own.

It actually turned out quite good so I though I'd publish it.

Nothing special about it, just an enclosure that press fits the lid together.

I've also got the other two height sizes, but this is the most common.

I've also got the 3.5" Caddy and when I upload that I'll amend this page.

I suggest you change the infill to Gyroid or Honeycomb, something that has less of a line identifying pattern when viewed through light.

Please be aware that this is not a cushioned case, it is just designed to protect the circuit board from getting damaged whilst in a pocket or bag.

It is NOT an antistatic storage system. If you want to add a minimum level of antistatic protection, and do this at your own risk. With the drive unpowered, wrap the drive in one or two layers of kitchen foil before inserting into the case.
