Parametric Helical Rack Gear Generator (STEP, Customizable, CNC & 3D Printing)

Description
This is a parametric helical rack gear model generated using an automated CAD system.
Unlike fixed models, this rack is not a one-off design — it can be regenerated with different parameters.
Specifications of this model:
Normal module: [X] (0.1–6)
Number of teeth: [X] (3–120)
Rack height: [X] mm (2.5–40)
Face width: [X] mm (1–50)
Number of teeth: [X] (3–120)
Rack height: [X] mm (2.5–40)
Face width: [X] mm (1–50)
Helix angle: [X]° (5–45°)
Helix hand: [X] (right or left)
End faces: [X] (parallel to the tooth trace, or square to the length)
Pressure angle: 20° (normal)
Standard: Based on JIS B 1701-1 / ISO 53 basic rack tooth profile
Use cases:
Rack and pinion linear motion driven by a helical pinion
Quieter and smoother travel than a straight rack
Linear axes and sliding tables for CNC machinery
3D printing
Mechanical design prototyping

Why this matters:
Most models here are static.
This system allows you to generate exactly what you need.
Note:
The module is the normal module; the transverse module is calculated internally as mn / cos β.
A right-hand helical rack meshes with a left-hand helical gear, following the usual rack-and-pinion catalogue convention. Because of that convention the hand of this rack refers to the opposite tooth trace direction from the hand of a helical gear, so a "right" rack and a "right" gear do not mesh.
With the default end face mode the ends stay parallel to the tooth trace and the outline is a parallelogram; with square ends the ends are cut perpendicular to the length of the rack. The teeth are complete in both modes.
Set the helix angle aside and this reduces exactly to a straight rack — use the rack gear generator if no helix is needed.
