The "Get It All On One Wall" Skadis Bottle Tray 🧴

My cousin Richard has a dedicated makerspace with the walls covered in Skadis pegboard he printed himself. His problem was bottles: paint, solvent, everything, spread across every flat surface he had. This tray gets three of them up on the wall and off the bench.

🟩 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞

▸ 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗨𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘆 — One open bin, wide enough for three bottles side by side and deep enough that a tall one stays seated instead of tipping every time you knock the board.

▸ 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀 — Mounts onto an IKEA Skadis board or a printed one, with no screws and no adhesive. Lift it off and rehang it somewhere else whenever the wall layout changes.

▸ 𝗔𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 — This started out sized for three square isopropyl alcohol bottles, and the depth is still perfect for them. The width had to come in during design, so it no longer takes three IPA bottles side by side. What it does carry, and what it is in service doing today, is larger paint bottles.

▸ 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗨𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 — That is the whole point. Everything you reach for ends up on one wall at eye level rather than spread over the surface you are trying to work on.

▸ 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 — Modeled from scratch in SolidWorks for a real wall in a real workshop. Not a remix.

🟩 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗧 𝗦𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦

0.12mm layer height · 3 walls · 9% gyroid infill · PLA at 215 °C

The 3MF carries the tested profile with tree supports set to auto at a 30° threshold and an automatic brim, one tray per plate. Slice it and check the preview before you commit to the print.
