Craftsman 320.37610 Router Table Insert Holder – 11 Slot Gridfinity





Description
Gridfinity-compatible 11-slot storage holder for my custom reinforced router table insert rings designed for the Craftsman 320.37610 router table.
The matching insert set contains 12 rings, but this holder intentionally has 11 slots because one insert will normally be installed in the router table.
This version uses vertical storage slots with front and rear retaining walls so the round insert rings cannot fall out of the holder. The top remains open so each insert can be removed straight upward.
The bottom uses a standard 4 × 2 Gridfinity footprint, allowing the holder to integrate directly into a Gridfinity workshop or tool-storage system.
Designed around insert rings measuring approximately 77.75 mm outside diameter and 7.25 mm maximum overall thickness.

This model was inspired by and adapted from mikiemon's Router table insert holder, Thingiverse Thing:2707465. The geometry was substantially redesigned for the Craftsman inserts, additional containment walls, and Gridfinity mounting.
This project began as a storage solution for a custom set of replacement insert rings I designed for the Craftsman 320.37610 router table.
The original inspiration was mikiemon's Thingiverse Router table insert holder. That design provided the basic idea of storing router-table inserts vertically, but my Craftsman rings use completely different dimensions and locking geometry.
My finished insert rings measure approximately 77.75 mm in outside diameter and 7.25 mm in maximum overall thickness.
The first version of my holder used open vertical slots. After physically printing it, I found that the round inserts could fall out because there were no retaining walls.
A later revision added front and rear walls, but the storage cavity was too shallow for the full 77.75 mm diameter rings to drop completely into the slots.
The final V4 design was rebuilt around the actual physical ring dimensions. It provides approximately 79.5 mm of clear front-to-back space, allowing the inserts to seat fully while still being retained by the front and rear walls.
The holder uses 11 slots because the complete insert set contains 12 rings and one ring will normally remain installed in the router table.
I also integrated a standard 4 × 2 Gridfinity-compatible base so the holder can become part of a modular workshop storage system.
The final design was physically printed and tested with all 11 spare router inserts.
CAD development and design iteration were completed with AI assistance and verified through physical test prints.
