AXIS M3086-V corner bracket

3D Model Description

This 3D model (in STL format) represents a corner mounting bracket specifically designed for installing a mini dome security camera in a 90° room corner. It serves to securely mount the camera and optimize its field of view to visually cover as much space as possible. The bracket includes the necessary holes for cable routing and precise mounting points for attaching the camera base.

Camera Compatibility

The AXIS M3086-V camera features a compact chassis with physical dimensions of Ø 101 mm × 56 mm. Thanks to the standardized design of this series, the bracket can be used for a variety of other models that share the exact same physical dimensions and mounting hole spacing.

All the aforementioned cameras use identical outer casings (e.g., AXIS TM3818) and therefore fit perfectly into the same bracket.

3D Printing Recommendations

Material: For standard indoor use, PETG or high-quality PLA is sufficient. If the bracket is placed near a heat source or by a window in direct sunlight, it is better to choose more heat-resistant ASA.

Infill: Ideally 25–30% (e.g., gyroid or honeycomb pattern) for sufficient load-bearing capacity and structural strength.

Perimeters: 3 to 4 perimeters (walls) are recommended to prevent the walls and mounting holes from cracking during the final tightening of the screws.
