Description

Wall bracket to allow greater angle of view for Axis security camera. Designed with Axis P3227 -LV in mind, but holes should match most Axis wall mount brackets.

Axis security cameras are some of the best. If the mounting position isn't ideal, the streaming view can be distorted or not give proper coverage. This bracket helps get an additional 35 degrees in the X plane.

Designed using Shapr3d. Holes on both main sections should line up with Axis base plate. Each section is named differently, simply for clarity, but aside from the arrangement of the 'fingers', they are identical.

Printed on a Bambu Lab X1C using default PETG settings.

All settings on Bambu Studio are default except where noted below.

10% infill, gyroid pattern for greater strength.

Printed with outer brim, tree supports for main parts to accommodate holes.

Bolt was printed horizontally to provide more strength, with regular support for easy removal .

Metal screws common at any hardware store used to attach the factory Axis wall mount bracket.

A 3d printed bolt and nut to join the front and back is included, but a standard metal bolt and screw can be used. The holes for the plastic bolt are 8mm in diameter.

The bolt is 86mm long, and 6.4mm in diameter,(threads are non-standard and are about 7.8mm in diameter) with 13mm head.

Use this bracket in a protected area, NOT exposed to sun, wind, or rain. This is not designed for harsh environments.

Use the plastic of your choice.

When used in protected areas, there is only the need for the plastic bolt to be snug, not too tight.

Simply finger tight should be sufficient to keep camera in position.

Two small holes on the top support have been added to place small wood screws or sheet metal screws just as stops, but shouldn't be needed.
