Asus ROG X870E Dark Hero DDR5 RAM cooling bracket

This is for the Asus ROG X870E Dark Hero factory DDR5 cooler fan that comes with the metal bracket. As everything else on this board was properly overbuild, they had to mess up somewhere as this metal bracket is problematic to mount, especially that it has no sense to mount it under AIOs cooling fan and It is impossible to mount it just under the DDR5 ram modules.

This is a single print, you can use 3 variants /no Fan angle/ small FAN angle/ and more angle (never measured it) / where with the last model it has the best RAM cooling results so far.

I have 2x 32GB Kingston DDR5 6400MT ram modules and in idle they would hold 56'C where under load Ram sticks would actually get over 70'C. Now with angled fan installed just under the RAM sticks in idle temps are 45'C and under heavy load (video render in Premiere Pro) mine do not go over 57'C.

No tools are needed to install the FAN except a screwdriver to remove/install 2 Motherboard screws located just under the ram, you might need a bit longer screws depending on the MB screw inserts. MB FAN just slides in and is held quite well by the bracket.

You might need 4pin PWM fan wire extender to be able to reach the board fan connector.
