Caddx Vista Camera Adapter for Modern O4 Mounts

The Problem: Modern FPV frames are increasingly shipping with camera brackets designed strictly for the newer O4 ecosystem (and its mini/lite variants). If you are upgrading your frame but want to keep flying your trusty Caddx Vista, the newer brackets often won't fit the older camera dimensions.

The Solution: I designed this custom adapter to bridge the gap. It shares the exact outer geometric footprint of modern O4 adapters, allowing it to slide perfectly into standard new brackets. However, the internal cavity is meticulously dimensioned to hug the Caddx Vista camera with zero play, ensuring your camera stays completely locked in during flights.

Background: I originally designed and tested this for my Flywoo Firefly 25 Mini after a frame swap, but the standardized outer dimensions mean it should be highly compatible with other modern frames using the O4 mounting ecosystem.

Hardware Required:

4x M2 Brass Heat Threaded Inserts (Dimensions: 3.2mm Outer Diameter, 3mm Height).

6x M2x5mm Screws (4 screws to mount the adapter to the frame's bracket, and 2 screws to secure the camera to the adapter).

Print Settings & Recommendations:

Material: PETG, ABS, or ASA. The Vista VTX and camera can get hot, and PLA will likely warp over time or snap in a crash as it is more brittle.

Walls/Infill: Print with at least 3-4 walls for structural rigidity.

Orientation/Supports: Minimal supports may be required for the internal cavity and screw holes depending on your printer's bridging capabilities. I did not use any personally.
