Sony ECM-MS907 20mm x 2 to camera mount (0.25in) Adapter - Fusion 360 file included

Adapter for mounting a Sony ECM-MS907 microphone holder to a standard 0.25in camera mount.

The file is customizable, and allows to either have a 3D printed inner threading, or to use a brass insert. Check the last five groups as follows.

Enable the first group (Brass - Bottom) to add a hole on the bottom for inserting a brass insert*.

Enable the second group (Brass - Top) to add a hole on the top for inserting a brass insert*.

Enable both for a pass-thru hole (not recommended). A warning will appear: ignore it*.

Enable the third group (Thread - Bottom) for a 3D-orinted 0.25in inner thread on the bottom.

Enable the fourth group (Thread - Top) for a 3D-orinted 0.25in inner thread on the top.

Do NOT enable both. Enable the last group for a pass-thru 0.25in inner thread.

*Brass insert added for reference: do not 3D-print it.

I recommend using a brass insert.

I also recommend operating from the top, and screwing the adapter in the original stand upside down.

The file is highly parametric.

If using a brass insert, change the diameter of the recommended hole (BrassHoleDiam), and the length of the insert (BrassLength), as recommended by the manufacturer of the insert.
