Radiator floor mount

Description
Radiator Floor Stand / Mount (40mm Pipe)
A heavy-duty structural floor stand specifically engineered for supporting and elevating Rommer Optima BM 500 section radiators (or any heating system utilizing a lower manifold/pipe with a 40mm external diameter). This bracket acts as a load-bearing floor mount, safely transferring the radiator's weight to the ground and reducing the stress on wall fasteners.
🔑 Key Features & Dimensions:
* Target Pipe Diameter: 40 mm (perfectly contoured saddle for standard lower radiator pipes).
* Elevated Floor Clearance: 110 mm lift height from the finished floor surface to the bottom of the pipe channel, ensuring optimal bottom-up convective airflow and easy cleaning access beneath the radiator.
* Heavy-Duty Structural Reinforcement: Dual vertical pillar design with recessed central webbing for high compressive strength and resistance to lateral tilting forces.
🔧 Hardware Required for Assembly:
* 2x Fasteners: Wood screws, concrete screws, or dowel bolts (depending on your specific flooring/mounting substrate material).
🖨️ Print Recommendations:
* Material: PETG, ASA, or ABS.
⚠️ Crucial Note: Do NOT use standard PLA. Radiators regularly reach temperatures of 60°C–80°C (140°F–176°F), which will cause PLA to soften, sag, and fail under load.*
* Infill: 30% - 50% for high load-bearing capacity. Use strong structural patterns like Gyroid, Cubic, or Grid.
* Walls / Perimeters: 4 to 5 perimeters. Thick walls are essential here to prevent the plastic from compressing under the heavy weight of a water-filled radiator.
* Top/Bottom Layers: 4 to 5 solid layers.
