NetSpecter Rack Brackets and LCD Back Cover for Sophos SX/SG 125 Rev.3

Description
Custom 3D printable rack brackets and LCD back cover for converting a Sophos SX/SG 125 Rev.3 appliance into a NetSpecter network visibility appliance.
The design adds rack-mount ears and a round LCD status display mount, as shown on the NetSpecter appliance build. The LCD mount is intended for a small round display module such as a BigTreeTech KNOMI V2 or similar 1.28 inch 240x240 GC9A01 round TFT display.
These parts were designed for Sophos SX/SG 125 Rev.3 hardware. They may also fit Sophos SX/SG 135 Rev.3 appliances, but that fitment has not yet been confirmed. Please check measurements before printing.
NetSpecter is a Debian-based network visibility, DNS analytics, monitoring, IDS, and licensing appliance project.

Hardware Needed
- M3 screws, approximately 25 mm long
- BigTreeTech KNOMI V2 or similar 1.28 inch 240x240 GC9A01 round TFT display
- Sophos SX/SG 125 Rev.3 appliance
Check screw length carefully before final installation. Do not use screws that can touch the appliance PCB, wiring, or internal metalwork.
Print Settings
Material: PETG recommended
Layer height: 0.20 mm
Nozzle: 0.4 mm
Walls/perimeters: 4
Top layers: 5
Bottom layers: 5
Infill: 40%
Infill pattern: Gyroid, grid, or cubic
Supports: Use where needed, depending on orientation
Build plate adhesion: Brim recommended for long bracket parts
PLA can be used for test fitting, but PETG is preferred for final parts because it is tougher and handles appliance/rack heat better.
Post-Printing Notes
Test fit all parts before final mounting.
Check screw length carefully so screws do not contact internal components.
Do not over-tighten screws into printed parts.
Confirm the LCD cable has clearance and is routed away from heat or sharp edges.
Make sure the brackets do not block appliance ventilation.
For best strength, orient the rack ears so the screw holes and mounting tabs are not weak across layer lines.
Fitment Notes

- Sophos SX 125 Rev.3
- Sophos SG 125 Rev.3
