Low Friction Filament Guide - Swiveling Top Mount for Longer LK5 Pro, Ender 3, CR-10

Description
I loved the original low friction mount, but I have been on a bit of kick to move as much weight as possible from the top of the frame to the bottom. So, i have mounted my filament dryer/spool to the side of the frame, and I needed a good guide to run filament up to the top-mounted sensor, that then drops filament into the direct-drive extruder/hotend.
You can find the Sunlu Filadryer S2 frame mount files here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7377957
This remix uses a slightly modified version of the original guide, and adds a swivel mount designed to mount to any 2020 profile gantry. The mounting bracket features a 50 degree cant to allow for smooth feeding from the right side rear. The design still supports the use of 2/4mm PTFE tubing for low-friction feeding. I will upload a left side bracket soon.
If there is any interest, I can design a mount for a 2040 extrusion, just let me know if that's something you need.
The bracket is meant to secure to the top gantry with an M5x16mm bolt and t-nut. I over-engineered the bracket for the use case, so minimal infill is required; 7.5-12.5% gyroid should be more than sufficient.
The bracket should be able to be printed without support, depending on your printer. The guide itself I was able to successfully print with nothing more than a 30mm brim. You will want to print this the way it imports to your slicer, standing up. 5% gyroid fill gives it enough rigidity for my purposes, but I can't see any need for more than 12.5%.
Update 07/02/2026:
- I noticed that getting the PTFE tube into the guide was a pain, so I chamfered the entries and expanded the holes by 0.1mm; that should give plenty oft tolerance, especially if your printer likes to squish fat lines.
- It was easy enough to create a left side bracket, so that is included now.
- The length of the mounting bracket was a little short for my needs, so I've added a significantly longer bracket.
- Corrected an issue with a non-planar surface causing printing problems.
- I added a slightly longer and further arcing guide as well, for anyone whose needs that will suit better.
- Added width to the 2020 mount profile for the sake of eliminating the need for a brim. Side effect is more rigidity and quicker printing!
*Please consider leaving a tip if this or any of my other designs made your prints better or your printing life easier, it is greatly appreciated.
Many, many more ideas and things to come!*
