Tech 21 Evo Patriot Durable Impact Resistant Case Power Button Peplacement.

If you've ever lost one of these when you've removed your iPad Pro or iPad Mini Evo Patriot from a Tech 21 case, trust me you can't find a replacement anywhere. So here is one that fits it's not perfect but it's my first ever upload to Thingverse. The button has been made about 0.25mm shorter than the original to make it easier to install when the two half’s of the case are together it won’t fall out. I may upload true size version soon. It also fits and is the same size as the volume buttons.
The iPad mini 1,2,3 case @ https://www.amazon.co.uk/Tech21-Resistant-Bullet-Shield-Technology-Generation/dp/B01HU6F808 will also fit the newer iPad mini 4 and 5 devices but the original power button has problems being pressed by the case itself accidentally due to this slightly longer length by 1.75%, I'm working on this version and will upload as soon as I have a working prototype on my older case I had to remove the plastic and reach in to press the internal button.
The ipad Mini 4 and 5 both with 7.9" screens are around 2.3mm longer than the iPad Mini 1.2 and 3 but they still physically fit in this excellent enclosed Tech21 Military Standard Grade (MIL-STD 810G.516.6) case, however due to the slightly longer length this makes the power button tighter so the button I'm currently working on will be shorter and slightly offset to stop it being pressed.
Sadly the iPad Mini 3 and iPad Pro (also Air 2 both with 9.7" screens) which these excellent Tech 21 cases were designed for and and are much older devices and therefore are stuck at iOS 15 and 16 respectively this is a great website to check @ https://iosref.com/ipados
I now use my ipad Mini 5 with iOS 26 in the garage for Zwift as the older iPad Mini 4 was stuck on iOS 15 was struggling to run it. I have ordered a 🆕 iPad Mini Tech 21 case for £5 will be here next week and will upload a button that will work as you can see where I removed the rubber the power button on the iPad Mini 5 is closer to the screen and longer edge.
