UMX Viper FPV Camera Mount + VTX Cover
Summary
This is a lightweight FPV camera mount and VTX cover setup designed for the E-flite UMX Viper 30. It is intended for clean FPV installations where you want a simple printed camera mount and a small cover for the VTX area.
This setup is especially useful for canopy-free or modified-canopy FPV builds where the goal is to get a clearer view from the micro EDF without adding much weight.

Approximate Part Sizes
- Camera mount: 10.0 mm × 31.5 mm × 21.6 mm
- VTX cover: 18.0 mm × 15.0 mm × 3.1 mm
Print Settings
Suggested starting settings:
- Material: PLA, PLA+, PETG, or lightweight PLA
- Layer height: 0.12–0.20 mm
- Walls/perimeters: 2–3
- Infill: 15–30%
- Supports: Use only if your slicer shows unsupported overhangs
- Brim: Optional, helpful for small parts
- Orientation: Use the included 3MF as a starting point
For aircraft use, keep the print as light as possible while still having enough strength to hold the camera/VTX securely.
Installation Notes
- Test-fit before gluing or taping anything permanently.
- Use lightweight double-sided tape, foam tape, hot glue, or small dabs of adhesive depending on your setup.
- Make sure the camera angle is correct before final mounting.
- Keep wiring clear of the EDF intake, fan, linkages, and control surfaces.
- Check center of gravity after installing FPV gear.
- Range-check and perform a short test flight before pushing the setup hard.
