Volvo EX30 mount for rear dash camera

This mount allow a camera to be mounted in the rear of the car simply by pulling the rubber seal away, where the camera is needed, hooking the mount onto the roof liner and then replacing the rubber seal. The camera is simply slid into place and held with friction, saving any screw holes to secure the camera.

The basic model was created in Fusion360. The knitted detail and the moose were added in BumpMesh.com, a web based application created by CNC-Kitchen.

Printed with PETG (is would look better in matte black)

Print height was 0.20mm with a 0.4mm nosel.

3 walls thick.

100%infill.

Supports are needed but only on the bed.

I tried it with two different cameras and is found the mounts had different sized bases, but only by 0.5mm in width. So if your mount is wider than the space, just increase that axis size. I have included a photo of the generic camera base.
