ASUS 90W USB-C Charger Desk / Wall Mount Adapter

Description

I made this mount for the ASUS 90W USB-C charging brick so it can be fixed under a desk, on a wall, or anywhere you want to keep the charger from hanging loose. I mainly made this for fun and as an experiment in designing a practical part with custom supports and a stabilizer.

The charger slides into the printed holder and is held firmly in place. The fit is intentionally snug, but keep in mind that the tolerance may become a bit tighter when the charger warms up. If you do not want to struggle when removing the charger, you can scale the model up very slightly, for example +.5% / +1%, to loosen the fit.

Stabilizer Version

I also made a version with a stabilizer tower to reduce vibrations and help prevent layer shifting during the print.

The stabilizer connects to the model using 6 small contact points. Each contact point is a 1 mm diameter cylinder with 1 mm length, attached between the stabilizer tower and the actual part.

This was mostly an experiment because I am still a beginner and wanted to try making my own custom support/stabilizer system instead of relying only on slicer-generated supports.

For the stabilizer version, I recommend using:

Higher layer height if you want to save time

Low infill to avoid wasting material on the tower

No supports

There may be some witness marks where the stabilizer/contact points attach to the print. These marks are expected and may leave a small rough spot after removal. You can sand them down if you want, but they should not be visible once the charger is mounted anyway.

The charger fit is quite tight, especially if the brick gets warm. Slight scaling can help tune the tolerance for your printer and filament.

This design was made specifically for the ASUS 90W USB-C charging brick, so I cannot guarantee fitment with other ASUS chargers or different wattage bricks.
