Description
Uses the stock sensor. No soldering, no extra electronics.
The sensor is suspended on the filament. Inside the sensor is a piece of filament.
The rollers are mounted on springs.
If the filament gets tangled, it tightens and presses on the rollers. The rollers go down, and the sensor goes down with them. The filament slips out of the sensor, triggering it. The printer stops.
When the filament runs out, the same thing happens — the sensor detaches from the piece of filament.
A standard sensor bracket is installed at the filament inlet.
I took the bearings that I had lying around — from a pump 6201 and from a spinner. Also you need as several small screws. You can use the standard screws from the printer.
