Ender 3 X Linear Rail Vinyl Cutter Mount

Drag-knife vinyl cutter mount designed for the Ender 3 with an X-axis linear rail modification. Compatible with PolyCut: https://github.com/IridiumIO/PolyCut, an open-source tool that allows standard 3D printers to function as plotters, vinyl cutters, drawing machines, and other G-code-based CNC tools.

The part was intentionally designed to be printed completely flat in order to improve structural strength, maximize print reliability, and avoid unnecessary supports. After printing, the upper tab that attaches to the linear rail and the two lower tabs that secure the belt must be heated with a hot air gun and carefully bent to a 90° angle.

This design keeps the layer orientation significantly stronger in high-stress areas, greatly improving rigidity and long-term durability compared to a directly angled print.

Printed at 80% infill, 2 perimeters, 0.4 mm nozzle, and 0.20 mm layer height.
