Mercedes Command 17mm Cell Phone Mount

This mounts with double-sided sticky-tape to the face of a Mercedes Command stereo, near the top right corner, out of the way from the driver (in a left-hand drive car). This Mercedes Command radio is in most every benz from 2012-ish and most models got the refreshed MBUX by 2021. However, in this era, a lot of cars just need a simple mount. The photos are of a 2018 GLE350.

Earlier model versions of this were easily snapping off at the ball. I made little rocket fins up the sides -- small enough to not hinder the accessory threaded screw, but enough to add some surface area at the vulnerable layer. I can crank this down pretty tightly and still move / adjust it -- I haven't broken this style yet.
