10" Rack Shelf V1.0

Description
Fits 10" racks (depth = 10″ / 254mm). 5-piece modular shelf: 5mm solid base + 4 mounting ears.
M6 bolts from the side → keeps front and rear panels fully accessible (RJ45 keystones, fans, patch panels).
Tested to 5kg in PETG (100% infill), but real 1U server gear rarely exceeds 1kg.
Fully demountable → also means it prints on smaller beds (≥250×250 mm). No need for a large-format printer.
Why this shelf is different
Most 3D printed shelves hang from the front rack ears, blocking access to flush-mounted connectors.
➡ This one mounts from the side, leaving RJ45 ports, fiber couplers, or rear fans completely free.
✅ Less demanding on build plate size
A 250×250 mm bed is enough. Print each ear flat, print the base diagonally or split logically — no large-format printer required.
🧩 Construction
1x base – 5mm thick, full 10″ depth (254mm / 10 inches)
4x ears – printed separately, bolt to the base
100% demountable – disassembles flat for transport or reprinting
🔩 Mounting system (important)
M6 bolts (standard 10‑32 or M6×8…10mm)
Bolts go into the side of the ears → nothing protrudes into front/rear openings
✅ Perfect for:
1U routers, switches, firewalls
Raspberry Pi clusters
Mini PCs & 10" patch panels
Thin cient, as HP T630, Lenovo M73 etc.
