Corne/CRKBD Low-Profile Unibody Case

Been looking for a low-profile unibody case for using my corne in my lap (a bit like an alice keyboard in this instance but more compact and ergonomic) and found the awesome cyberdeck-stlye setup from a8ksh4. I didn't need the tablet support so I removed it. You will need a short 3.5mm connector with 90 degree ends unless you tamper with spacing
NOTE: This is for corne/crkbd v3 and earlier it will NOT work with v4/v4.1
This build requires some M2 screws (same as original). I think I used 8mm, countersink is preferred especially if you use low-profile switches
Ideas to improve:
- The top edge is rough and could be smoothed some
- It might be possible to include a palm rest or even a detacheable one (I wanted this one compact to live in a laptop bag)
- It may be possible to fit a small touchpad in-between the two halves, especially if the spacing is meddled with.
- Newer corne cases have suppport for the keyboard PCB at the corners of the case, this may be worth adding for stability as it sits on the screw mounts right now
Printing:
- Material: Works fine in PLA or whatever you prefer
- Infill: Tested at 15%
- Support: Not necessary
- Layer Height: Worth printing at 0.08 due to slight slope but you might be able to print at 0.2
- Size: This print may not fit on your bed; I split mine with the dovetail in-slicer and printed it as two halves. I leave it to you to decide as I don't know your printer
