Cycloidal transmission (1:18 gear ratio)





Description
Complete set of STL files needed for this 1:18 cycloidal transmission. It contains 2 cycloidal disks, the eccentric center, the output (which also has the outer pins) and the 2 parts needed to keep the transmission in place (input). The transmission uses a NEMA stepper motor, m3 threaded rods (to join the 2 support parts), and 4 bearings - 2 for the disks and 2 for the output (disk bearing - 10 mm inner diameter, 7.5 mm outer diameter, 5 mm thickness; output bearing - 65 mm outer diameter, 50 mm inner diameter, 7 mm thickness). The inner pins (which are made out of metal) have a diameter of 6 mm.
I would recommend for the disks to be printed out of ABS, since they have a lot of strain put on to them.
*Might modify in the future in order to fit bearings in the inner pin holes, since for now there is a plastic on metal contact.
