Garmin Striker 4 Base - Boat mount for fishfinder

Description
This is the bottom part that the Garmin Striker 4 fishfinder mount clicks into (this is the part that bolts down on whatever surface you're using to hold the fishfinder). The reason I created this is because I built a portable carry case for my Striker 4. I put the original mount inside the carry case to hold the fishfinder when it's inside, but I also wanted to be able to detach it and mount it to the top lid of the carry case, so I needed a seconded mounting bracket. I priced those brackets online and nowhere could I find just the base, you had to buy the whole bracket and base together and they all started at about $30. Ridiculous for 2 cents worth of plastic, I thought. And I also wanted to a bracket on my canoe and boat. So I designed this bottom mount so I could have multiple mounting/attachment points wherever I want and not have to pay the exorbitant price for the whole bracket. I printed a few of these out of PLA and found they are a tight fit. A tiny bit too tight, so I did a Version 2 and v3. This one is near perfect, though I still had to run a small file a few times on the opening width as it was about a millimeter too snug. Once I did, it had a perfect secure friction fit. PETG or some other heat/UV tolerate filament would be best, but I went with cheap PLA and expect it will be just fine for my uses. Hope this helps you and leads to many fish in your creel as well. :)
