Ender 3 V3 SE Extruder Indicator Cover

There are a lot of Covers out there for the Ender 3 V3 SE Extruder assembly and thousands of different Extruder indicators.

But i found no Cover, that combines both and and give a nice look. This Cover comes in a lightweight honeycomb version and a more decent one with sides closed. You can choose from 3 indicator styles.

The indicators are designed to be printed in 2 colors with an build in purge block option avaliable for cleaner results.

I designed this Cover for use with a 25 to 40mm fan mod.

Fits well with other Covers, left side covers may need a cutout.

First of all, make sure you have a well calibrated Z offset.

Best results you can get with navaismo firmware or klipper and linear advance calibrated

Print the parts with 0.2mm layerhigh and a 0.1mm first layer.

You dont need supports. Just enable adaptive layers for the Cover and print the first few layers smaller.

For the 2 color Indicator you will need to add an 'M600' filament change command on layer 3. In my example i printed the logo versions with black first and changed to white. The swirl indicator is first printed in white an then switched to black.

You might need a purge plane to get a clean result. I made a build in purge version for all indicators. Make sure, your print orientation ensures the purge block is printed before the indicator (should be block left and indicator right)

If you need a longer way to purge, just add the standalone purge block manually and change its size, but leave its high as it is.
