Description

Replacement Wall Mounting Plate for Philips myGarden Cottage Lamps

The stock mounting plate for the Philips myGarden Cottage (and likely other wall-mounted lamps in the myCottage range with round bases) is not very sturdy — my contractor managed to break three of them while removing the lamps for scaffolding.

I created this model based on the dimensions of the least-damaged original plate. It’s my first FreeCAD project, so there’s plenty of room for improvement, but it fits well and in my experience it’s sturdier than the original.

Print settings used

* Filament: ABS PLUS

* Temperatures: 215 °C first layer, 200 °C remaining

* Infill: 30% honeycomb

* Supports: none (not needed; adding them makes cleanup around the recessed hex-bolt holes a pain)

Mounting notes

* Works for cables coming through the wall.

* If your cables are flush with the wall, you’ll need to remix the model.

* Hole locations match the stock plate, so it should fit existing wall holes.

* Mount with the arrow pointing up and the drainage hole down.
