Universal Drawer Slide Mount

Hi everyone! I'm proud to present my very first 3-D modeled design ever! It isn't much, but it's functional and it solved a problem I was having with a broken drawer.

How I designed it

I modeled it after the original part that broke, which was a universal mounting bracket for drawer slides. I used a set of digital calipers to get a rough measurement of all the things I needed. Then using primitive shapes and simple techniques in Fusion 360 I was able to replicate it almost exactly, and even improved upon its design by adding channel locks along the entire length of the channel, and making the tolerances tighter.

Conclusion

I know it's not much, but it worked for me and so I thought maybe it would work for someone else out there! I included the Fusion 360 files for you to modify as you see fit, since the design is pretty universal.

I printed this on an Original Prusa Mini with Prusament Oragent PETG
