1:25 RC Car chassis

Description
Remixed the original 1:25 RC car, so all the parts are scaled ALMOST correctly. (close enough anyways)
You will need to print the body from the remix linked, THE BODY NEEDS TO BE SCALED UP TO 103.2~% to fit this design perfectly. It just turned out that's how it fit with the designed batteries. I mounted the body using foam to make it a compression fit between the doors and the sidewall of the chassis. it worked great for this size car. You could glue magnets instead if you prefer.
I used 2.5mm screws throughout the car and the rear axle is a 2.5mm threaded rod. I used bearings in the rear but can't recall the exact size currently so I'll need to look that up before i take this out of "in progress"
the tires are good to get the model finished, however printed tires are terrible for driving on most surfaces!
I included EDITED frame, and control arms. the EDITED control arms are for using a 2.5mm screw through the front tires (drilled out to spin freely) and tightly fit into the control arm for a cheap and easy way to let them spin free. the EDITED frame is mostly a cleanup from the original model that also removes the FORWARD servo mounting hole to clear the challenger body.
The "CUSTOM STEERING ROD" is left blank so you can custom drill a hole to match your servo steering horn, or you can use the stock one as well.
MOST of the holes for this model I highly suggest you go at them with a correctly sized drill bit. they're all slightly undersized when I printed them, this was so I can guarantee a proper fit without splitting plastic when screwing things together.
there should be space on this car to hold a pair of 18650 batteries as well if you don't mind the added weight!
I'll add files as I finalize them, feel free to share questions or comments or corrections!

I found a Pull car at a local walmart which has really close to correctly sized tire and rims for this. for $9.00 it wasn't a bad deal!
