ST662
ST662AC DC-DC converter from 5 V to 12 V, 0.03 A
The ST662 the easiest solution if you need a low current 12V source and have only 5V power source available, such as when you are powered from USB, an Arduino or a Raspberry Pi. The ST662 is specifically targetted at generating the 12V programming voltage for EPROMs. The fact that it delivers the input voltage on the output when powered down makes it ideally for this purpose. However, many other usefull applications exist for this IC, such as switching between 4:3 and 16:9 on SCART plugs or any other low-current 12V application.
The ST662 uses charge pumps to step up the voltage and as a result doesn't require an inductor.
